SO I was driving a few months ago listening to Ciss 92.5FM, and this song came on and I INSTANTLY fell in love with it! I was wining and jumping right away which let me know that this was a damn hit!!
I was guessing that it was Kes The Band from Trinidad featuring Machel Montano! (Don't ask, that's just what my ears told me lol)
I listened for the artist at the end but of course...they went straight to commercial and didn't say who it was! *SCREAM!* Anyway, happened to hear it again a few days later and got the name....Stephon Hendricks. I then proceeded to stalk online to find this song and some info on the artist.
I found out that he's from Toronto ( But clearly Trinidadian roots) and also sings with a group called Notice. This is an artist to look for.....he's ON DECK!! When I heard this song it took me straight to Trinidad in an all-inclusive fete! I can see everyone in a club, or fete or concert losing their minds to this song!! This song should be the theme song for all the promo for Caribana (Toronto Caribbean Carnival)
