I DON'T WANT YOUR LIFE

So, late last night I was on Facebook checking crazy messages cuz I haven't been on in a while and my girl Chauna sends me a message to check this site out. http://idontwantyourlife.com/ I've been crying-laughing reading this guy's commentary ever since!!! If you're sensitive....this probably isn't for you. He's very crass, derogatory....an asshole really, but FUNNY!! LOL! My humour's kinda out there at times so I'm nauseous from laughing at this site. Lemme know if you find him funny or if you think we're both sick! LoL! :)

HOT BATHS!

One of Life's simple pleasures that can relax and refresh you are baths! They're so enjoyable yet many of us don't often enjoy a nice warm bath. With all that's going on with today's ecomony a trip to the spa may not be on your list of priorities, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a spa-like experience right in your own bathroom.

Start with some nicely scented candles. You can get them just about anywhere and if you're on a fixed budget, hit up the dollar store. Get lots of them! Different sizes too but make sure to either get dripless candle or holders because wax is a pain!

Then you can grab some flowers from the grocery (any kind you like really, mix it up!) or you can go by your local florist close to the end of their business day and ask them for the petal clippings from that day. They usually give you a paper lunch bag full for about $5-$8!

You can also have a fruity or floral bubble bath. Everyone has varying tastes when it comes to bath gels but get a thick one that lathers alot and that you just adore so you can totally emerse yourself in it!

Go home and scrub that tub! lol! I know I shouldn't have to say that but the reality is, I do.

The one thing that can ruin a bath is feeling the scum under your bum when you move around! YUCK!

Draw yourself a bath and either do bubbles or you can opt for the floral spa treatment and sprinkle your petals and some whole flower heads in the tub. Position your candles and then light them and take off the bathroom light.

Go on! have a bath! lol! Having more freaquent baths can make you a happier person :)

BEYONCE BREAKS SILENCE ON MARRIAGE TO JAY-Z

I've always loved Jay-Z and Beyonce as a couple and now that she's (they've) decided to talk about their relationship, I smile. I think it's good that they've kept much of their lives together private due to the industry their both in but I'm also happy that they feel secure enough in what they have to go public. Below is a bit of the article in the October issue of Essence:

She says, “What Jay and I have is real. It’s not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It’s real.”She says she didn’t have an engagement ring because “people put too much emphasis on that. It’s just material and it’s just silly to me… We’ve been together a long time. We always knew it would happen.” And B says her and Jay-Z’s April 4th, low-key wedding in New York was fine with her because “it’s been my day so many days already.”

I'm probably gonna pick up a copy......or read my girlfriend's own. loL!

Have you heard her new single "If I Were a Boy" ? Beyonce's 'bout her money, mang! She's dropping a pop ballad for that ass! lol! Personally, I like it! Some might not, but whether you like it or not...you're gonna be hearing it. Commercial radio is going to LOVE this one! I don't blame her. Everyone can see the damage Rihanna is doing in the pop scene so why not go get that market too. Plus, Beyonce has a strong fan base that will welcome her return.

I heard the follow up track as well and it kinda sounds like "Get Me Bodied" but I like it!

DJ Lissa Monét is one of the dopest DJs outta Toronto. Period. Every time Lissa touches the turns the party gets live! She has a coolness about her that makes her intriguing and it manifests in the way she mixes and her music selection. Lissa's known for being that DJ that breaks new artists and has a real pulse on what's happening in the entertainment scene. Her mixtapes are bananas and I love that she's always searching for hot new music, even some altenative ish to bring to you. Lissa Monét is the DJ for music lovers.....like me!

NEW JAZMINE SULLIVAN VIDEO! - "Bust Your Windows"

I'm lovin my girl Jazmine and the second single off her album "Fearless" is a sweet! This single is like a 2008 version of Oops! by Blu Cantrel lol!

THE FLIP

I first saw this camera featured on Dr. Phil for his 1000th episode he gave every member of the audience one of these....along with a whole lot of other things. I was so intrigued, I google it baby! lol! Now I want one!

The Flip has some cool features like Built-in flash memory and holds up to 60 minutes of high-quality video. What I like is the rechargeable lithium ion battery! I hate buying batteries and the re-chargeables don't last much longer. The camera charges by connecting to your USB port or using the optional Flip Video Power Adapter. Love it! If this little gadget can hold my attention long enough, I'm gonna pick one up! I'll tell you when I do :)

KANYE WEST VIDEO - LOVE LOCK DOWN

Kanye West premiered his video for "Love Lock Down" on Ellen's show yesterday and it's pretty dope! I didn't like this song when I first heard it (strange for me because I'm a big Kanye fan) but by the third listen I was sold.

SWEET RUSH!

While looking at videos on the internet I came across this duo. I read up a bit on them and found out that they are Somalian-born, Toronto-raised bombshells! They're a pop duo that started out here in Toronto but being that the entertainment industry is harder to break into coming from the North, they headed for Atlanta to do their thing.

I gotta tell ya, I've read a LOT of negative comments left by some males from Toronto sayin some real derrogatory things about these girls but I had to call it out because we're so used to hating in this city that we don't realize how stupid we sound and look.
I'm not suggesting that we love everything and everyone even if it's substandard, but if you're only comment about someone's music is to describe how they supposedly serviced you back in the day, "you got hate in your hort" (heart). lol!

I watched their video for "Hot Sauce" and got caught on the hook (cuz I'm feeling saucy today! lol! ) so check it out.

Beauty Rush Lipgloss by Victoria's Secret is one of my favourite lines of gloss that I've tried so far (and I've tried many! lol) The lipglosses come in 30 different colors and each shade has a different exciting flavor that reflects its name. The best kind of lipgloss is a shiny one! These are really glossy and smooth when applied but not super sticky.
